Oh my! My wings & thighs!

Yes, I said wings and thighs!  Yesterday was the start of the return to the Y for much needed exercise.  I have to say my body officially hates me right now!  But I LOVED every minute of it.... (even if I had a hard time getting up and down from a chair all night last night at work).  I have found out that I have triceps deep in there, under that extra tissue...  and wow, my gluts and hamstrings also got a HUGE workout.


Now, to get the eating in check... this whole thing is a juggling act, and I can't keep dropping a ball her or there because well you can't juggle if you drop the ball.  Duh!  The best I can do right now is keep getting myself on the right track, and practice a healthy lifestyle!

And I'm Back!

Well after nearly an 11 month hiatus I am BACK baby!

I finished nursing school, passed my RN boards, and have been working nearly full time all summer long.  Now that school is starting up for the kiddo's, I have finished my full time orientation at work and I am back in the game. 

My good friend and near mirror image Jennifer and I are about to embark on a journey starting September 8th.  We will be restarting our exercise regime at the Y four days a week... with two days having multiple classes (Zumba and Strength and Resistance).  

I have already started setting goals:
*I will make healthy food choices.
*I will run and complete a 5k this spring : Soleburner 5K May 7th, 2011.
*I will blog weekly with updates, struggles, successes and general babble.
*I will try this twitter thing.
*I will motivate myself and my exercise buddy.
*I will make time for myself and my family.
*I will tell my husband how much I appreciate his support more often than I do!

Well time to wrestle these here kids up some dinner... baths and bed school starts tomorrow!  YIPPPEE!!!
